Cody Williams for County Supervisor-District 2

Why am I running

County decisions impact your everyday life — property taxes, roads, public safety, healthcare access, and whether our local economy is growing or falling behind. I’m running to bring steady leadership, real-world experience, and a strong local voice to the Board.

For more than 15 years, I’ve served North Iowa as a mental health professional and small business owner. I’ve worked with children, families, and individuals who needed support, and I’ve seen firsthand how policy choices and public services affect people’s lives.

I also spent 13 years coordinating Early Childhood initiatives across Cerro Gordo, Hancock, and Worth counties — working with county and state partners to manage public funds and ensure taxpayer dollars were used effectively. That experience required fiscal responsibility, transparency, and collaboration — the same skills we need on the Board of Supervisors.

As a parent and former youth coach, I care deeply about the future we’re building for our kids. I believe Cerro Gordo County is strongest when leadership listens, works across differences, and focuses on practical solutions instead of politics.
